Tonight in Bakersfield, many of our neighbors will go to bed hungry, homeless and hopeless.
We are able to provide hope and a future to those we serve, because of volunteers like you. Our hope is that your experience on our campus inspires you, and leaves you with a better understanding of what we do and why we do it.
At orientation, we’ll get you acquainted with TMKC ministries, discuss the many ways volunteers serve, and give you an application to complete. Submitting your application will initiate an interview process to match your skills and interests with the needs at The Mission.
Health & Safety
If you have any symptoms of illness, please call our volunteer coordinator at (661) 325-0863, ext. 220 to let them know you will not be attending the orientation. Thank you for your interest in serving at the Mission at Kern County! Attending a volunteer orientation is your first step on a wonderfully fulfilling path.
